Batemans Auctioneers ‘Antiques Roadshow.’
The format for our talks is usually as a mini 'Antiques Roadshow' whereby the audience are invited to bring in items they would like valuing and we will do so, with a short discussion of each piece and an idea of value. We can also bring photos and examples of some interesting items to spark further discussion. If anyone is particularly interested in a specific field of antiques, Fine art or collecting then we can usually discuss this in more depth if they let us know the topic beforehand.
Our requirements are that a donation of £25 be made to a nominated charity (we generally support Marie Curie and Cancer Research, or any other charity of the booker's choice), plus endless cups of tea! We're happy to cover a 40 mile radius of Stamford.
We have given talks and valuation days for many different groups including the W.I., the Key Theatre, various church groups and other fundraising groups. If you need any further info then please contact Kate Bateman via email or the numbers below.
